Hello
I have currently a Residence Card as " Family Member of an EEA National". My wife was a French citizen when we got married in UK in January 2008. In September 2009 she became British also.

I heard that I could apply for ILR as spouse of a British National after 2 years of marriage. But now I'm wondering if we have to count those 2 years from the day we got married or the day my wife became British?

I need your advice please.

Many thanks.

Gemini, I think you can not qualify for 2 year spouse condition. Because the time when you got residency your wife was on french nationality. Only partners of british citizen can qualify.they can apply citizenship after 3 years (2 year spouse visa + 1 year ilr, if came uk under spouse visa ). In your case I guess after 5 years you can get ILR as your residency card has 5 year validity.
