Hi,

I'm going to be submitting my ILR application under SET(o) at the Glasgow office in person in next week.

I've composed an employer's letter supporting the application, hwoever, can't find any information on the net on WHO the letter should be address to?... and the address that should go on the head of the letter.

With only a week left to go, I would REALLY appreciate if someone could give me the address.

Thanks.

Hi,
I would think just addressing it to ' whomsover it may concern' should suffice.
That said, a model letter is on the forum, which is addressed to UKBA.
Best regards

Just curious....In the model letter on the forum, the address is:

To UK Border Agency
Leave to Remain – SET (O)
PO Box 495
Durham
DH99 1WR Date: XX JAN 2010

Some minor query(s):

1. Shouldn't the date be right on top rather than next to post code?

2. Should it be 'To UK Border Agency'

or

To
UK Border Agency

3. In the address, should it be

Leave to Remain - SET (O)

or

Indefinite Leave to Remain - SET (O)?

Also,

Should the address be the Durham one irrespective of which center one is applying in person to?.

If you are applying in-person, address it to the concerned PEO.
And yes you can improve on the English and customize the letter as much as you want.

The crux is the content of the letter should not be compromised.
