1st HSMP in Dec 05, entered UK on WP & moved to 2nd HSMP

I applied for my first HSMP in May 2005 and got the 1 year entry clearance stamped (outside UK) from 15 Dec 2005 to 14 Dec 2006. But I did not enter the UK using the first entry clearance issued based on the HSMP approval letter.

My employer processed a work permit for me in November 2006 and I got my entry clearance stamped from 08 Jan 2007 and I entered the UK on 14th Jan 2007.

I then applied for my 2nd HSMP in April 2007 and got my 2 year FLR from 29 Sep 2007 to 28 Sep 2009. In Sep 2009 I applied for extension under Tier 1 and got my 3 year FLR stamped till 28 Sep 2012.

My first HSMP was approved before the ILR limit was changed from 4 years to 5. Will I be eligible to apply for ILR after completion of 4 years in the UK (HSMP JR)? Please could someone help. Anyone similar to my case out there?

You ILR clock starts from Jan 07.
Given that you had no gaps between WP and HSMP and you had continious stay ....
You never enter using your 05 HSMP and never showed continuity.

If you never used the entry clearance (1st hsmp), it was never activated. so you do not qualify for the HSMP JR (ILR after 4 years).
