Can anyone help. Need some info:

My husband and I got married in france in 2007.we have one son born in france. I moved back to uk and applied for his visa from pakistan 2009. He got his EC visa may 2009 for 27 months. End of december his father back home got ill so my husband went to see him. he was due back on 20 feb but my father in law died so he came back on 14 march. He has the death certificate and hospital report.

What effect is this going to have when I apply for his ILR?

Hi Salma

Firstly i am very sorryfor your famlies loss.

with regards to the ILR application, your husband has a 27 month visa and the requirement is that he has to be living with you inthe uk fo 24 months so i think as long as he did not delay his travell to the uk when he first got his visa then the 3 or so months out of the country shuld not affct you too much.
It may mean that you will have to apply by post rather than i person (same day service)
