ILR SEPTEMBER 2011 (HSMP JR)

Dear all,

I came to UK on student visa in August 2004 and changed to HSMP in September 2006 and subsequently received extension as Tier 1 Gen migrant (HSMP JR prior to Nov 2006) and did not have to go through point system.

My query is whether I am eligible for ILR in 2011 SEPTEMBER?

Home office does mention in relation to HSMP/Tier 1 candidates prior to November 2006, I can apply for ILR after 5 years on HSMP/Tier 1.
I understand rules change in JULY 2011 and was hoping this does not affect me but still not sure.

Pundits and Gurus on this forum, please advice on this.

Many thanks.

The rules change won't affect you. The JR2 Court Order states that you'll be eligible for ILR after 5 years, UKBA has to adhere to that.

The rules change state something about HSMP exemption, in fact, but I don't have the link.
