Hey i am about to apply ILR this month but today i got a summons from council tax that i have missed one payment in this year. Well i don't know how my direct debit was cancelled and haven't received any reminder letters from them.
Any how i will clear this amount and i assume they may default me and does it effect my ILR?

Ideally it should not impact your ILR. Make sure you pay all the dues in time and carry a letter from your council confirming the same.
To what i know once you clear all the dues they remove any CCJ on your credit file.. best is to check you credit score with equifax/experian.. but should not impact any way.

Hey thanks for you reply... Well i think it wont come in credit file.
Why i am saying was .. i just checked in credit experts that there wont be any account for the council tax so .. i hope it wont effect the credit score.
Also i find out this information from the web
Frequently asked questions about Court action:

A. You do not have to attend. The Council takes the case to Court to prove the debt and requests the Magistrates to grant a Liability Order. (see Liability Order)
Q. Is my name read out in Court?
A. No. The Council presents a list to the Magistrates. Names are not read out.
Q. Will my name go on credit blacklist?
A. No. Because the action is through the Magistrate’s Court and not the County Court your name will not go on a credit blacklist.
