Dear All

My situation is:

Came as a full-time student: September 2001
Switched to Work permit: September 2008

THERE IS NO GAP IN BETWEEN (i.e. more than 90 days).

I am confused WHETHER JULY 2011 rule change would AFFECT getting ILR on September 2011(on the basis of long stay 10 YEARS residency rule)?? If it doesn't, would I fall into the probationary citizenship path?

Pls would anyone advise on my situation?

At the moment, all the information about PC / earned citizenship has gone from the UKBA web-site. I am afraid that currently nobody can tell you for sure what will happen after July 2011. So, one has to wait for a while, as some announcements from HO are expected to come quite soon...

Thank you dimsav. We hope they scrap July 2011 rule and keep 10 years residency rule !!!
