Hi, my wife is due to make an ILR application under Set (M) in November.

Both of us are working at the moment.
In one of the sections, it asks if I give her any money each month. and much. I have not had to give her anything because she is working. Is this a problem, or will they say that I am not supporting her?

Thanks

Hiya

The question asks Does a relative or friend of you or your partner, or both of you, regularly give you money?

It means that is any friend or family member giving money to you or your wife. It doesnt mean do you give her money.

So if nobody is giving you both money you answer no.

Sometimes the questions are difficult to decipher!

Have you been collecting all your documents, if you dont mind me asking what documents will you be submitting. My husbands ILR is due in Jan 2011. Im hoping that they dont change the law before we all apply!

I could answer no, but would that go against us. We earn enough to make sure we survive every month anyway.

That if anything is in your favour. Put 'No'.
