Section 6 : Immigration History in SET(O) Form.

Hi all,

I am in the midst of applying my ILR via the SET(O) form. I was made aware recently that there is a "180 days" rule imposed by the Home Office hence the reason of compiling applicant absence in UK required in Section 6 in the SET (O) form.
Since my job requires extensive overseas travelling (on average 3 months every year), I will definitely break the 180 days threshold.
My question is whether business trip is exempted from the 180 days calculation.
Thanks!

Amran

Basically you cannot be out of the country > 180 days. But I am not sure whether this applies only for holiday or together with business trip...

Yup... my bad... cannot be out of UK more than 180 days during the 5 years period.
