ILR application - Income question

Hi

I am applying for ILR HSMP-JR in Croydon early next month for myself and my family. I worked in a managerial job for a couple of years, and then was made redundant by end of 2007 with one year's salary as redundancy pay. I started my business in 2008, unfortunately I had loss making years and business is now getting better so that I expect it to become profitable by next year. In this period I did not have income from my business, but my household had sufficient funds from my savings and wife's (dependant) job.

How will my application be affected by not having income for last two years? Should I be mentioning anything about my wife's employment and her income level? If not, can anyone advise what I should do to build the case?

Kind regards,

As regards the financial test, showing that you are your family will not need to claim certain Public Funds, it is clearly very important that your wife's earnings are disclosed, because based upon what you have posted, that financial test would be failed if only your situation is disclosed.
