CHARITY/SPOUSE VISA PLEASE NEED YOUR ADVICE

My husband and i been together as partners for 7 years until last year we got married and decided to move to uk. He has his own uk registered charity in Uganda. His plans are to spend 6 months in uk with me and 6 months in Uganda to run the charity. My question is will this affect me getting ILR? Please advice me because it worries me.
