ILR and Pregnant and no job

Hi,

My wife and myself have been in the UK for 4 years. We will be applying for ILR in June 2011 with my wife as the main applicant.

She is due to have a baby in March 2011. So when we apply for ILR in June 2011, she will be on maternity leave. Being self employed(contracting), her business will not be progressing during that period. Her business will be on hold until she is able to get back to work after 52 weeks.

Will we become ineligible for settlement/ILR because of this?

Also, i've been employed throughout my stay in the UK but came here on a HSMP dependent Visa. Can I become the main applicant for the ILR visa application?

Appreciate any help!

Thanks
Rohit

there shouldn't be any problem..you can not stop having baby because your ILR will get affected!.I guess she will stay in the UK after pregnancy?
I would get help from a solicitor though.
