My case history: Was in the UK as a student since 2001, started work for my company on 30/08/05 after WP was applied for. WP was granted 05/10/05 for 60 months. I'm still with the same company. I got married in Feb this year, wife was granted dependant visa till mine runs out (05/10/10). I'm going to apply for ILR at Croydon on Sat 18 Sep. My appointment is for 09:15, I'm planning to drive there, with my wife. I understand parking shouldn't be a problem as there is a NCP car park opposite. I live in Milton Keynes so we'll set off about 6am to make sure we get there around 08:30 at the latest.

Documents I'm taking with me:
SET(O) form
Passports for both me and my wife
2 Photos each
Company reference letter
Last 3 months bank statements
2xSavings account statements
Last 3 months payslips
P60 for last year
Life in UK pass letters for both
Marriage certificate
Rent agreement
HMRC document showing job history

This forum has been a great help in getting my application together. Any further advice/ tips will be appreciated.

Many thanks,

Just called the home office today to check that my wife is added onto the appointment. The lady asked for the names and then surprisingly asked 'Who is the main applicant as this is not clear'. I clearly made the appointment and added my wife as a family member and told her this. She said ok as long as you did that then you're ok.
I'm a little bit concerned now, has anyone had experience of this?

@PG1983

I had my ILR approved at the croydon office last week Thursday. My case was W1+W2+Tier 1 ( presently).

I had all the docs you have listed but what worries me is that you have mentioned P60 for last year only. My caseworker requested for the P60s for all the 5yrs qualifying period so I will advise you go in with all the P60 if you have them.

Get a letter addressing your days of absence during this 5yrs period if you have been out of the country for work.

Recent Utility bills in both names. I dont see any problem with ur application since you have been with the same firm for 5yrs.

I have misplaced the P60s for years 3&4 thats the reason for the dilemna. I have managed to get letters from HMRC and my employer showing salary and Tax paid in every year.

I have not been out of the country for work, my total absences over 5 years is 89 days. I have kept a back-up folder with recent utility bills, tenancy agreement and joint account statements (and basically every document I have).
