Hi

Due to apply for ILR . My photo is about 10 months old but I still look the same. Only way they would know the photo was 10 months old is because the same photo is on my schengan visa which is in my Passport and the visa is dated November 2009.

Do you think it will cause a problem if I use these photos, as I dont want to get turned down on the day because of this!

Many thanks

I would think that a new photo would be the safest option. Give them no chance to refuse!!

The ILR guidance I believe states the photo must be less than a month old.

If you intend to go in person to the PEO they do ask at the counter when the photo was taken.

The application may be invalid if an old photo is used.

So when it's invalid, and they send u the application back, (u received it, after ur expiry date), then does it mean u have a gap/break?
