When to Qualify for ILR ?

Hi,
When can I submit application for ILR ?
I got my HSMP approval in 23 Nov 2006 (based on old rules).
My permit started on 1-Dec-06.My current stay is expiring on 01-Dec-11.
When Should I apply for ILR ? Do I/my wife have to do Life in UK test for ILR ?

Was the application for visa (based on HSMP approval) made from within the UK or outside? If from outside, on which date did you enter UK on this visa?
You and you wife do not need to take the LITUK test at the time of ILR, but will need to do so before applying for naturalisation.

Application for visa made within UK based on HSMP approval.
According to JR,Do I have to send My last 3 months salary/bank statements with current employee letter ?

Under current rules, you may apply for settlement no earlier than
28 days before 5th anniversary of your stay in UK as HSMP migrant (01-Dec-2011).
Please
search the forum for list of documents you'll need to submit along with the settlement application. Many successful applicants have posted their success stories, including list of documents they had taken along / submitted.
