Just out of pure curiosity, would a Caution for Cannabis Use or Cultivation hurt a ILR application severely ? I don't have one but I do smoke very occasional, and was wondering what would happen if I got cautioned.

Save the speeches about how bad it is, I'm not 12 and I know better Alcohol and Tobacco are 10X worse.

You need to bear in mind that if you're questioned by the police for possession, you may not simply be given a caution...you could end up with a conviction which may well affect your future ILR application.

It's highly unlikely I would get anything but a caution, the police simply don't care about anything but a commercial grow operation. Either way to be safe I have stopped smoking "sigh" and given away my very rare and expensive seedling. Wish they would just legalize it, all this hassle over something so small. (The only reason I had a seedling is that I hate to deal with the scum bags who usually sell it, I work hard, pay my taxes and try to lead a decent life, but had to associate with people I would usually not give the time of day)

I will never understand why cigs that kill thousands of people and are far more addictive are A OK, but I cant come home after a hard days work and vape some nice relaxing bud while listing to some tunes. What a world we live in.

The complete injustice of it all aside I will abstain until after my application, I can't risk 5 years work blow over something as trivial as weed.
