After reading this forum, now I am getting lots for insight about very minute points regarding ILR. I was checking my passport and realised that the VISA issued to me as Resident permit having date gap. However I remember it applying it well in advance, however I don't remember when I applied it.

Work Permit Entry Clearance - 09-03-2006
Landed First time on 6th Aug 2006
Valid Upto - 09-09-2007

Work Permit Resident Permit - 17-09-2007 (Extension when I was in UK)
Valid Upto - 31-12-2008

Tier 1 - 16-Aug-2008
Valid Upto - 07-Aug-2011

Is it going to create an issue if I go for ILR, assuming the rules at the moment stays ?

One more point I want to make, the VISA letter I got is dated 22-08-2007. Therefore this proves that I applied before expiring

Any reply plz ???

As long as u were present incountry (present in UK) and u have applied before the Visa expiry date, u dont need to worry
