ILR - When I will be eligible?

Dear friends,
Could you please tell me when I will be eligible to apply for ILR?

Landed UK on : 03 jul 2006 - Work permit (old one, similar to Tier 2 ICT)
Worked till : 27 aug 2006
Left UK on 27 sep 2006 (away for 4 months, 17 days I believe)

Returned to UK on : 14 Jan 2007 on same work permit (issued before July 2006)..
Extended WP in 2008
Converted WP into Tier 1 General HSMP which is valid till July 2012.
I'm still working in UK for the past 4 years continuously from Jan 2007.

I'm not sure if I will be eligible for ILR in July 2011 or Jan 2012. Could you please clarify?

Thanks for the help..

Thanks
Sai..

I came to UK on WP and the project got over.. So, went back to India and the pay roll was changed from UK to India. I believe, since I was away for 4months and the payroll was not in UK during that time, I got to start from Jan 2007

please confirm..

i would think so., especially as you were on WP and not employed. If it was tier 1 and unemployed it might be ok but WP is difficult. Your employer should have cancelled your work permit, when you left UK.

Friends-

Would appreciate if you please advise my ILR eligible date :-

WP stamped on 23rd March 2006
Reached UK= 2nd April 2006

Visa Valid = 23rd March 2011

Can you please after which date i can book an on line appointment ( I reckon after 3rd March 2011).

Second- I am pondering to submit my application for my WP extension in Jan to be on a safer side as if something goes wrong ( GOD Forbidden) i must not be in dreadful situation. Would appreciate your response/advise on this.
