Letter from Parents

Hi

My husband is applying for his ILR (Set M) next week. We have lived with my parents since Feb 2009 and continue to live with them. They have written a letter to state that we live there. Do we need to provide any supporting documents such as a utility bill from them to show that they are the ones whos names are on the bills.

We have all our documents for the application, but I wondered if Home Office would ask for my parents proof.

Many thanks

It would be very sensible to have some with you.

Generally - council tax is sensible - but utility bills would work well.

Thankyou for your reply. I have a council tax bill but the date is April 2010 as the new one is not produced yet. It shows the dd payments that come out until end of Jan 2011.
Would this be ok?
