URGENT: Employer letter required for HSMP JR ILR?

Hi,

It appears I won't get an original version of employer's letter on time.

Is it okay to submit a printed electronic copy of a PDF employer's letter instead?

I requested one from my employer's HR department which is in a different city, and printed copy isnt arriving in the post on time. All I have is an emailed copy.

Is that a problem?

what visa you are on currently? for WP it is compulsory to have a letter. for Tier 1 it is not. Read the SET(o) forms for required documentation.

Ask you manager to give you a letter on company letter head. Its not necessary to have a letter from HR dept. I applied for my son's visa (Tier 1 Dependant) and sent the letter my manager have provided me. My manager provided her contact details on the letter in case HO want to verify the details.
When are you applying? Are you applying in person?
Please update us with your experience.

Regards

I personally do not think this is a requirement. Besides, what if you were not employed at the moment? Having supplementary documents that corroborate that you work over there should suffice in my own opinion.

Did they ask for these documents after your initial submission?

What is the list of documents you sent and for how long have you been waiting for a decision?
