I am applying for ILR under 10 year long residence category, I am not sure about how the absences are calculated,

As an example:
If I am leaving UK on the first day of week i.e. Monday and coming back to UK by Sunday in the same week.

The list of absences is it 5 days or 6 days or 7days?

Any help in this is much appreciated

when I applied for mine, I just calculated like if I leave on 7th and come back on 13th then I did 13 - 7 = 6 days.

I cant say whether that is correct or not. Just saying what I did.

its 6 days. days that you leave and come back are not counted. you should list all absences with start date and end date in the form.

Count whole days that you were absent from the UK.

i.e. Tuesday + Wednesday + Thursday + Friday + Saturday = 5 days.

Thanks
