Hello,

I will pass the life in the UK test soon, I have the book of life in the United Kingdom a journey to citizenship printed in April 2007 is that the right and same edition or there is a new one?

I Will apply for my ILR in 14 Th March because I arrive to UK in April 2009 is that the correct time to apply?

My visa will expire on July 2011 if I decide to apply for ILR in April or May is that possible or I have to apply by 14 Th March? Thanks a lot

During this period I been on a 12days holiday only,

Kind Regards,

Betty

It really depends what visa you are on.

2 years sounds like a marriage related visa?

Hi Betty. Well my husband came in Jan 2009 and his runs out April 2011 and we could apply between Dec 2010 (28 days before the date he arrived in UK plus 2 years if that makes sense) until the date it runs out in April 2011. So basically we're applying next week. So it sounds like you can apply from around March (depending on what date you arrived) up until the expiry date in July 2011. Hope that helps :-)

You can apply no earlier than 28 days before your 2 year period in the UK is completed. 14 March should be fine based on the dates you have given, but you can apply later if its more convenient as long as it is before your visa expires.

Yep Betty anytime between 14th march 2011 - date of expiry (which I assume is July 10th) is fine. But personally I wouldn't leave it as late as expiry! Good luck with your application
