ILR after Apr 2011- Salary question

Hi
I am on a work permit and will apply for ILR in Dec this year. From April, it seems income criteria will need to be met for ILR. Currently my salary is about 2.5k above what it was when I got my WP. Is there a new threshold that I have to meet or is it okay if my salary is at current level?
Any suggestion would be quite great. Thank you.

according to the transitional arrangements doc:
"Tier 2 (General) and Work Permit migrants will
need to be paid the appropriate salary for the
occupation as set out in the relevant Code of
Practice for sponsored skilled workers."
Search through the COP for your occupation.

Hi Sage
Thanks for your response. According to the COP, there are are various ranges for my profession, accountancy. For example, ACCA finalist, fully qualified, experienced post qualification etc. I was a finalist then, but have now become fully qualified recently. Does it mean I have to have the fully qualified salary? Will Home Office also check when I became fully qualified and from then onwards expect my sal level to increase?
Response will be highly appreciated.

The details will be published before the changes come into effect. So, wait until then for exact details on the matter to be known.
