ilr set M please help

Hi. I have a few questions about set m ilr application. My husband is currently applying. are there any other docs like our monthly budget, personal statements etc we can send to make the application stronger? If so how would we put them in, front back, in another file etc.
Also in the application it asks for income, I tink it was weekly or monthly..thing is my husband is contracted 12hours at work. It's retail. Bt does sometimes 20hours sometimes over 30etc depending on time of year. Eg he does more during Xmas. How would I clarify this? Could I average out 3months wage and explain?
I'm currently on mat leave. Only contractd 4hours a week so dnt get statutory pay. For my income on ilr form do I write original income and explain. Also my wage slips contain 0.00 so do I still post them?
And ....Does anyone knw if p60 is a must for set M ilr?
