Dear members,

As everyone knows, they are bringing the new rules in. How do we proof that we do not have unspent conviction? Do we get a report from Police or any other organization? I went through the document here but couldn't find anything. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

kind regards, Utkan

You do not prove if you have none. You declare if you have one.

You can't prove a negative.

Does anyone know how a caseworker can check the criminality threshold for a person.

Will they have all the records of a person regarding the criminality threshold.

What will happen if we submit the application without disclosing the unspent convistions?

I'm not sure
I think you should not hide anything
I suggest discuss with a good experienced lawyer.

1. The UKBA is very strict these days and first thing they do is to check the applicants criminal records.
2. They have access to the police database and other organisations so if you have a criminal record they will find out.
3. It is an easy way for them to reject the application and see deception.
4. My advise is to always disclose it and explain as it would not harm your application.
