Hello All,

I have been receiving mixed reviews about the ILR rules and wanted to clarify it with your knowledge here.

My 10 years ILR will be completed in October 2011 & My duration of stay consists of 7 years of student which is how I first entered the county.

The other 2 years consists of PSW and now I my stay has been extended a further 2 years till 2013 with the Tier 1 General Visa.

Now my Question is whether the new rules allow the PSW Stay counted towards the 10 year ILR rule?

Secondly as per the new income criteria do I have to show the income requirement for every year I have been on a PSW/Tier 1 visa or just to show the amount earned/showed when I applied for my tier 1?

Any Feedback would be beneficial and thanks in advance.

Regards,

1. For 10 years u can be in any immigration permitted category.
2. Student, PSW and Tier 1 is fine so dont worry about it.
3. If you are applying under 10 years, all u need is Life in the UK test plus all the passports u held during that time, nothing else.

Thanks Ash,

Do you have any link which states I only need the documents required you stated?

Than why is there so much issue about the new rules such as income requirement and criminality record? Who applies to these rules?

Thanks
