I have been going through the forum since last few days and really thank everyone for the information. I have a query which I cannot find in other posts

I was on business visa for 2 months and then went back to India and came back on Tier 2 work permit within 10 days. During this time the business visa was valid.

can I consider my business visa(c-visit) duration in my 5 years stay for ILR?

Yes, if you intend to apply for settlement under long residence.

Can you please let me know what is settlement under long residence, is it different than a continual stay of 5 years, also, if it helps, here are my details:

wp3(T2 ICT) - 6 jun 09 -- 12 june 11
wp2 - 29 may 07 -- 29 may 09 (entry 2 jun 07 - till date)
wp1 - 28 dec06 -- 28 dec 08 (entry 9 jan 07 - exit 10 apr 07 )
c-visit - 12 dec 06 -- 12 apr 07 (entry 20 oct 06 - exit 21 dec 06)

Looking at the dates above, when am I eligible to apply for ILR
