Salary points for ILR with Childcare Voucher Scheme

Hi All,

My ILR is due in October'2011. Under new ILR rules we need to again score points as we had scored during Extension.

In my current employment, I have taken Child Vouchers scheme offered by my employer which is a tax saving scheme. As a result my salary slip appears as below

Payments Units Rate Value Deductions
Child Vouc 243.00- Tax CCC.CC
Loc Inner A NI Table A BBB.BB
Basic Pay B

Total Net Pay
Gross Pay QQQQ.QQ Deductions SSS.SS ZZZZ.ZZ

Where Gross Pay (QQQQ.QQ) = A+B-243.00

Hence, my Gross salary appears to be less than actual Gross salary that is mentioned in my employment contract.

Can someone please advise if I am able to claim salary points based on my actual Gross salary ? Has anyone come across this situation in ILR / Tier1 Extension before ?

Cheers,

Before posting your topic did you use the search facility on this board? Had you done that you would have got numerous "hits". This subject has come up many times before. Your situation is far from unique.

Click on "Search", enter .... Childcare Vouchers ... go for "Search for all terms", then click on Search.
