ILR 10 years Long Residence: missing border crossing stamps

Dear Members,

I'm applying for ILR based on 10 years Long Residence (5 y. student + 3 years WP + 2 years Tier 1) and I have no gaps to continuous residence, no convictions, and I have my Life in the UK tests competed.

My only concern is to demonstrate is that the time I spent outside the UK was less than 18 months - which is indeed the case (as I spent 417 days outside the UK over the last 10 years, 96 of them on business).

The problem I am facing is that I am missing 3 border crossing stamps in my passports: 2 when leaving for short trips abroad (to Germany and Switzerland), and 1 when returning back to the UK from Ireland (somehow the border control in East Midlands airport did not check my passport on arrival!). Hence, there is no proof on the exact amount of days I was outside the UK based on my passports alone.

Could you please kindly advise me:

1. Can this constitute a problem when considered by a case worker?
2. If yes, what documents can I provide to strengthen my case?
(I was thinking: visa stamps in my passport for Germany/Ireland + flight booking confirmation + hotel booking printouts from my email)

Many thanks in advance for your answer.

King regards,

-Sasha

During last 10 years I had 75 trips abroad, making some ~350 days absence.

Only submitted my [4] passports and Life in the UK test - got ILR approved.

I have a mixture of: quite a few stamps missing, some wrong ones [one by a whole year], 2 trips where I left UK [and returned] but not entered any other country [don't ask :D], quite a few IRIS entries etc.

I didn't submit any supplementary information, but I have truthfully listed all 75 absences, with correct dates and reasons.

Shouldn't be a problem as far I understand.

Hi sasha I asked a similar question few days ago and I've been advised, by the senior members, not to worry. Please check my previous post:

Good luck.
