Hello all,
i send my application under the 14yrs rule the 25/03/2011. Got a refusal letter today 06/062011. Their reason is i've not shown enough prove that i've been in this country for 14yrs. How do they expect an iligal to have documented prove for each year.
My question is what do i do now? my solicitor says i can't appeal as they've not given me a removel notice. Does anyone know how the appeal process works and how long i have to waite to get result? will a letter from my MP help? Also please post any successful appeals. PLEASE HELP ME!

do you have any family/ children here? You might able to apply discretionary leave to remain. Do you mean you couldn't proof when you first entered UK? Do you have any friends/ professional persons can proof you were here over/ during 14 years? What about medical records? There couldbe many little things you could look for. I don't think MP could help if UKBA claimed that you have lacked of evidents. You might start looking for the people who know you and help you by writing supporting letters.

What evidence did you supply showing that you were in the UK continuously for at least 14 years?
