CRB Check for ILR

Hello everyone,

I just had a quick question and would really appreciate your help

Is the Basic Disclosure document enough to confirm if someone has any unspent conviction? How confident can one be if the disclosure is blank? Can someone challenge the Home Office based on the certificate received from Disclosure Sctoland?

I have checked the sticky on this but the answer is really not clear.

Many thanks

The disclosure can never be blank, It should say none declared.
This has been also discused on the forum so you have to search for it. It should have the subject checking unspent conviction urself

It does actually say "NONE"

I have checked the other discussions but it does not clearly answer my questions.

I called Telephone given on www.crb.homeoffice.gov.uk to get the basic/Standard CRB check form so that I can apply , but the call center person told me I cannot apply in person for the basic CRB check. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
