I was awarded higher points for my age in my Tier 1 extension that my initial application.
So for my ILR application, will my age points be based on my age points on extension or my initial Tier 1 points?

Tier 1 settlement guide wrote:Age
If the applicant was first granted leave in the categories of Highly Skilled Migrant, Writer, Composer or Artist, Self-employed lawyer or Tier 1 (General) Migrant and has not been granted leave in any category other than those listed here since the first grant of leave,
points will be awarded based on the applicant’s age at the date of the application for that first grant of leave.
thanks

thanks for your reply
but that was same rule as well when i applied for extension but anyhow the case worker gave me higher points for my age for extension
also it says in the website -
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... ettlement/
"Points will be awarded in the same way as for as your previous grant of permision to stay under Tier 1 (General)." - does this mean the extension points?

Difficult to believe, but if you claim so then consider it as a result of inaccurate interpretation of the immigration rules by the caseworker or a result of his ignorance.
Refer to what the law states (
33).
