You are allowed 180 days out of the UK in addition to any paid annual leave or work related travel. However the paid annual leave and work related travel is disregarded at the discretion of the case worker. So a letter from your employer specifying the dates you were away on work related travel / paid annual leave would be proof for that.

any thoughts on this?
just would like to know how much maintainence funds is needed to sponser two dependants and for how long. I would be getting my ilr in Jan and would like to apply their dependant visa ( so it would be ilr dependant) - also i have been in the uk 7 years and in this year will be travelling to india twice (the reason i specify this is because tier 1 dependant guidance says 1600 if not in the uk for 12 months and 533 if in the uk for 12 months - so confused)
Thanks
