While downloading the SET(O) form, I can see below message on website. does any one please explain , what does this mean ?

do we need to do the payment up front while booking the PEO slot online.

"If you want to book an appointment at a UK Border Agency Public Enquiry Office (PEO) you must do this before you pay online. Please ensure there is a minimum of 2 working days between the date of payment and your booked PEO appointment. If you visit any PEO within 2 working days of paying we will cancel your appointment."

not mandatory , you can pay at home office desk on the day of appointment ,

THere is no way to fill the form online without paying the fee.

he is talking about booking the appointment online but filling and uploading the form online.

Thanks for response but I am confused now - do I need to pay for online booking or should be doing booking over phone and pay on the day of appointment.

Please advise.

If you download the correct Application form and go through the payment details page you will know how and when you can pay.

I thought online application for SET(O) was not available. The system dictates to download the paper form and fill in by hand.
