My application for ILR successful today, 18/08/2011
Thanks Very much to the forum and members who helped me.
My case details:
SET(O)
5 yrs on work permit same employer
178 days absence out of the UK (Paid leave)
one Fixed Penalty Notice (speeding ticket) (3 points on my DL)
During the last 5 years I had 3 car accidents all settled with insurance companies, many parking tickets and also one PCN (Penalty charge notice) ... which made me really worry last few weeks.
My appointment was at 8:00 am in the morning, arrived at 7:30 and went through security, then document verification and got token number, paid the free and went to the waiting area to wait my number to be called.
It was really strange as my number called about 9:10 am, caseworker asked me for the following:
1-LIUK certificate
2-Police registration certificate
3-Employer letter
4-3 months payment slips
5-3 months bank statements
6-5 years P60s
7- Original work permit
Also I gave him a spreadsheet of my absences with stamps page number on both old and new passports and passports copies (stamps were highlighted) he was very glad to have that that and he finished my case in 20 mints and granted me ILR .. straightforward and no problems at all .. then after that I had to wait one more hour to get my passport with residence permit stamped.

Thanks guys...
Jaffar & Abbi123, police registration certificate is not a new requirement no, but some nationalities should register at the police (it was mentioned on my WP visa) thats why he asked me for the police registration.
Sarah: I was on 5 years work permit only for 5 years and same employer.
genious: yes I have used the same copy here on the forum and sent it to my emplyer, I think if your employer mention about the SOC code then it will be easier for the casr worker
