Apply for ILR without original passport

Hi,
Wondering if anyone out there can help with a query I have.
My partner is in the UK on an Ancestry Visa and is due to apply for ILR next month. The ancestrial visa was issued to her in Australia before she came to the UK. Over the weekend her passport (with her UK acenstry visa) was stolen. My question is does she need to get the UK acenstrial visa transferred to her new passport (via TOC form) or can she just apply for ILR (SET (O) form) with her new passport without the UK ancestry visa being transferred.
She has photocopies of the visa and the personal details page of her old passport, can get a letter from HMRC proving her earnings over the last 5 years and get letters from employers confirming no break in employement since she has been in the UK. She'll also have all the required birth certificates. The passport has been reported stolen so will have a police crime number. We intend on making an appointment in the Croydon office for the ILR.
So in summary is the TOC required before the ILR appointment, or is it not needed if we have all the above documents.
Help much appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
