ILR Queries

Hi,
For ilr do we need to have original P60?
I lost P60 for first 2 years,so my company gave duplicate P60.
My company gives us the scanned copy of the P60.
So for rest of 3 years I have scanned copies.My question is can I take the printouts of these documents to apply ilr? I also asked if they could
attest the docs but refused.
Alternatively,what are your suggestions?

You can get your Tax history from the HMRC, in case your accountant / company is not ready to attest the duplicate P60s.

However,will my application be rejected or put on hold

All documents that you submit must be original, unless there is a compelling reason for which supporting evidence would be required. In your case its not a compelling reason. Rejection or otherwise depends on the CW but it is more likely that the CW would not accept the documents. However, you could search for alternate documents which could be in the form of employer letter stating your salary details for the whole 5 year period. Again, it all depends on the CW.

Gurus/experts I'm guessing that you might have handled these scenarios. your opinion on this please?

I lost one P60.
what i did-I asked my company to send me the letter on the company's headed paper(logo)the confirmation of my earning and tax paid for the particular year.It is called "Statement of earnings"
At the same time i requested HMRC to send me the confirmation of tax for the same year-they sent.
I did not apply to PEO yet ,but i think it will b enough.
From my point of view it is highly unlikely that ur printed p60s will b exepted by CW

Hi,

I did a enquiry with my HR and Payroll dept if anyone has applied for ILR and were sucessfull. I got a reply stating earlier few emp have used the prints of the P60 issued to them via email.
I consulted the emp in person and got the same feedback and they have received ILR one month back.
Guys, I'm also planning for the same. What do the experts/peers/gurus/sages here think?

Effectively, from Aug 2009 to Aug 2010 there is no supporting documents for Cohabitation. No NHS, Utility bills, Bank statements went online and now no historical bank statements can be downloaded now which would display address during that period.

Dec 2010 - till date : we both have all the documents in both names. Council tax,Utility bills.

My wife was out of UK for 4 months 10 days continously from March 8th 2010 to July 19th 2010. Does this affect the application?

Having shared the above details gurus/experts/sages/experienced do you see any issues with this application with respect to COHABITAION supporting evidence? If yes, is there a solution?

Based on your reponses, it will help me to make decision if I should go ahead with application on my own and drop the plan to apply for my dependent along with my application.

Please help me.

Hi All,

I enquired with HOME OFFICE today on the Cohabitation related documents.
This is only applicable for Marriage Visas. For rest of all other visas like SET(O) in my case is not required to have the Cohabitation documents.
However, to be on safer side I suggest to carry the supporting documents along with you.

Have you read section 10A of the SET(O) form?

Yes, I did see this and hence posted my query but in vain. Hence called the home office on this regard. Upon their suggestion I have posted the comment.
If this is incorrect, please correct my understanding and in this scenario what steps can I take.
