Hi all

I have Just moved to UK on spouse visa 6 months ago, I have business here in UK and India. IT enables services and Exports. My Company in UK is relatively new I just register a company 3 months ago, I have company in India for Last 9yrs. I have to travel every month to India for one week or two week in two months, I am simultaneously setting up the company here but it will not make profit till next two years. I been coming to UK for different business and marketing purposes for last 6 years I been to UK literally every months since. sorry for long story my question

1) Will my absence will account against me when I apply for ILR
2)Since My company will not make any profit till next two years by the time it will be time for ILR application
3) Do I have to pay doubel tax In India and UK

can you suggest some pointers in this regard

2. Your business's performance / income is irrelevant to your eligibility for settlement.
3. Not an immigration issue, but browsing HMRC's website for double taxation treaties should help. Alternatively, seek professional tax advice.
