Changing Employer Before applying ILR on 22 Nov?

Hello Everyone,
I am applying for ILR on 22-nov-2011 at PEO Croydon @ 11:15AM. Currently I am on HSMP which is expiring on 12-12-2011. I received My HSMP Approval Letter on 30-08-2006 (which means I am covered by JR).
I am working as a security officer and on 14-11-2011 new company is taking over the site where i been working since last 6 years. So I will be working at same place but it would be new company.
1- My first question is that I just need employer letter from new company to take with me on visa appointment day? Or do I need any other doc as well from new company. I have got all prevoius pay slips, bank statments, p60 and etc.
2- Second question is do I need to take my wife aswell on Visa oappointment day or it would be ok to go by myself and all dependent doc?
