i will apply for 10 years long term residency in aug 2012 and i am on tier one general and wife tier 1 dependant will we both get indefinite leave to remain and we both have to do life in the uk test .
And i would like to apply same day service which documents do i need to take with me can you please guide me .
and how this all work my 10 years will complete 1st of sep 2012 but people say i can apply in aug is that right please advice

Same day service is not possible.

If wife is not eligible, then she may apply for FLR(M) after you are granted ILR or before her leave expires, whichever is sooner.
