I entered the UK on a work permit in Jan 2007,but have been in UK since 2002 on student visa and PSW, and then switched to Tier 1 General in March 2010.I am up for my ILR and I I have got a few questions regarding the SET(O) Form and documents I need to submit, would some one kindly please answer them

Q1 - 6.3 When did you last enter the UK?

I was in India recently and I came back on Sep 12,do I put that date or do I put the date I first entered the country with my work permit?

Q2 - Do I need to submit a certificate/letter to prove that I am free from unspent convictions?

Q3 - Currently I live in a privately rented flat and been living there since this July.I have got tenancy agreements, bills etc proving that I have been living at this address. Before that I used to live at a different address. My question is,do I have to get a letter from my former landlord proving my proof of stay at that address. All I have got at the moment is my telephone bills and payslips.

Q4 - Couple of months back my company started issuing payslips online. Will I be facing any problems if I sumbit printed copies of my online payslips?

Thank You

Yes you put the Sep date

No, you are not required to provide such evidence.

As for the remaining questions, if you are considering applying under the 10 year rule since you mentioned that you have been here since 2002, then you are not required to provide evidence of finances at all, in other words no payslips, bills, tenancy agreements etc...

Hope this helps

Thanks for your answer BigSam,

Im am planning to apply under the 5 year rule, hence the questions regarding the proof of address. If you have got any info on this, could you please help with some answers?

I know I have to do the "Life in the UK test".How much gap am I allowed to have between the date of the test and date of my ILR application?

Thank You
