Hi, Iam claiming Income based job seeker allowance..
My wife spouse visa Expires on 15 March 2012
Her 2 year however completes on 27 jan 2012...
3 Question I need to ask regards to the above...
1) Does my jsa effect her in getting the Indefinite leave to remain?
2)Will it help if i show her as self employed as she is doing sewing and making money for herself but in doing so wont make problem further? as iam claiming jsa not tax credit... or shall i show 3rd person helping her with fund like friend or family?
3)When exatcly shall i apply for her indefinite.. as i want to do same day service as it will be quicker..

Your wife can apply no earlier than 28 days before the 2nd anniversary of her arrival in the UK on her current Spouse visa. So 28 days before the 27th Jan 2012. No later than the expiry date.
You are entitled to claim JSA in your name without it affecting her application.
Home Office case workers are instructed not to refuse spouse ILR due to lack of finances alone....so there's no need to show any 'self-employment' for your wife.
Has she passed the Life in the UK (KOL) test...or completed an approved ESOL Citizens content course?
If you want to apply in person it would be wise to book the date now as PEO appointments are released 6 weeks before and Christmas/New Year will limit availability.

She is going for esol course, and exam is on 12th dec.. she speaks english to level which i think shell pass.. another thing is if i add 3rd person support in financial situation will that help?
And she is expecting a baby on 1st jan2012.. shall we avoid child benfit? untill her indefinite case is over?

You can use 3rd party financial support to strengthen the application if you choose, but you shouldn't need it.
You must ensure that the ESOL course is from an Home Office approved provider and you will need to submit the pass certificate and a letter from the college confirming your wife has progressed from one level to the next and that the course contained 'Citizens content'.
You can claim child benefit in your name.

now she uses mine,, but on passport its her father name still...
she has 5 ids.... some on her father surname some on my surname... are they going to create problem for her? she i order new ids on the passport surname?
And how many months bank statement i need to show in total? Im starting job in 2 days before this i was claiming Job seeker allowance i was told to come off it or it will mess up your application so i got new account for job which wont show my claim of jsa.. but she has total of 3 and half months left for her visa valid untill.. march 15 2011...
If i show bank statements till feb 20 would that be enough? as i want to avoid job seeker allowance bank... to not create mess.. iam not claiming even child benefit untill its clear.. and shall i go for same day service as i feel its quciker.. if for some reason they need further proof would the money be gone or it would be there for few days? instead of me repaying?
