Thanks!
As per the policy :
2.2
Applications that fall short of the five year continuous period
In some cases, applicants may have been granted 5 years continuous leave, but will not have spent 5 years continuously in the UK before their current leave expires. Caseworkers may count the period between entry clearance being granted and the date the applicant entered
the UK towards the 5 years, provided this period was not longer than 3 months.
I thought this was applicable only if short of 5 years and VISA going to expire before completing the 5 years stay.
Not trying to debate your application but just trying to get my head around it.
And congrats for your ILR.

Hi, congratulations on your success!
I'm claiming earnings from Sep 10 to June 11. I'm self-employed recently - since July 2010 (I haven't yet taken a salary or dividend) - I don't know what to enter - Section 5.3 Are you working in the UK? If so, what is your pay each month after income tax and other deductions?
What did you put for 5.3 in your application?
Thanks.

Congratulations!
Nice to find someone who has similar case like mine.
Mine is due mid of next yr. The question is did you have to get a letter from the WP employer as per the new requirement?
Thanks in advanced.
Congrats

Congratulation Mate!!!
Were you within 180 days limit? If yes the have you ticked "Yes" for D2 question which is
"Please confirm whether you have been outside of the UK for any single absence over 3 months or one or more absences which amount to more than 6 month in total during the 5 year period:"
Thank you in Advance

Hi,
First of all congratulations on ILR.
I got a similar case (well not so considering my gap), do you think I would be eligible for ILR in May 12?
My case is:
First entry to UK 24/May/2007 on Work Permit from Indian employer
Received HSMP Tier 1 approval letter while in the UK - Jan/2008
Date of leaving from UK to India 31/03/2008 - to resign from Indian employer while still in the process to confirm UK based employment
New UK based employment confirmation: 21/Apr/2008
HSMP entry clearance submission in India - April end 2008
HSMP entry clearance received on - 26/May/2008
Passport received from UK embassy on 28/May/2008
Resignation from India based employer - 29/May/2008
Travel to UK on 13/July/2008 and joining UK employment on 14/July/2008
During this period I had two employment offers and accepted offer of employment for one, for which I had already initiated the process while in the UK. I can provide relevant emails to clearly indicate the same.
I received my HSMP Tier 1 extension in June 2011 for 2 years.
Based on the document mentioned above would I be eligible in May 12 for ILR?
Kind regards
