Can I qualify if I worked at a High Commission?

I need some help please in figuring out if I qualify for indefinite leave to remain. Here is the timeline of events.

November 2004 - entered the United Kingdom on a working holiday visa.

September 2006 - switched visas and worked in the United Kingdom on a 'Limited Leave to Remain. No recourse to public funds. Employed by an overseas Government in the UK.' This visa was extended yearly.

September 2009 - for the same visa the wording in the passport changed to 'Limited leave to remain in the UK. No recourse to public funds. Locally engaged staff at a specified diplomatic mission.'

June 2010 - switched to a Tier 1 (General) visa.

When I was employed at the High Commission by an overseas government, it was not as a diplomat. I was locally recruited and paid UK taxes. I have now been in the UK, post working holiday visa, for over 5 years. Do I qualify for indefinite leave to remain?

NO
3.2. Leave to remain for non-exempt employment wrote:
When the Protocol Department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office have
confirmed notification and acceptability, leave to remain for 12 months on Code 4 for
employment at the specified mission only may be given. Annual extensions may be
given upon confirmation that employment continues. It should be noted that this
category does not lead to settlement after 5 years.

Not now as stated by Obie, may be after 10 years, if that category still exsits in 2014.
