ILR Self Employed LLP + previous employment

Hello everyone,

I've been a silent reader of this forum for a while, but now I need your help.

I'm due to apply for ILR in June 2012. The way it stands I can score the required 75 points claiming my degree and the earnings from the previous employment (PAYE).
Few questions though.
1. Can I claim different degree to the one I've claimed before on my Tier 1 application (it turns out it's recognised as Masters' but i've never claimed it before)?
2. I am now a member of LLP, i.e. I am an individual member (I don't have my own company set up), my salary is paid gross into my bank account, hence there are no payslips. The LLP tax year ends in March 31, then we go through the audit, so there is a good chance that I won't be able to show the audited accounts in June. Would a letter from accountant explaining this be sufficient, while detailing all the payments made to me for the period, so I could claim my earnings? I'm also planning to disclose the partnership agreement, detailing how the partnership is run, but I'm not sure that's in itself sufficient.

Gurus, please help.

Many thanks!

1. Yes.
2. If you qualify for settlement as a Tier 1 (General) migrant using previous earnings only from employment (PAYE), then IMHO, there should be no need for you to disclose any income earned from LLP or even the fact that you are a member of an LLP.

I stand to be corrected but, if I am not mistaken, the application form / rules / policy does not require the applicant to disclose "all sources of previous earnings in the 12 out of 15 months" to qualify for settlement as a Tier 1 (General) migrant. Likewise, there is no requirement to disclose "all sources of income"! Reading the policy guidance should clear any doubts.
