Dear Fellows,
I am having HSMP visa and planning to submit my ILR at the end of year 2012. I have received only initial council tax bill only (not a monthly council tax bill). Now, I want to know that Will it be sufficient as a proof of my residence?
Regards,

you only usually recieve one council tax bill per year. Is this really the only evidence of your residence you are planning on submitting?

You don’t need to rely just on Council Tax. You can use any of these.
1. Utility Bills
2. Bank Statements
3. Credit Card Statements
4. GP/NHS Correspondence etc
5. And literally any junk mail with your name and address on it

If you are applying after 5 years of your stay (not long residence), why do you need to submit proof of residence? Of course, you need to submit proof of your continuous stay in UK. If you are able to submit 5 P60s or then that should be sufficient.
