I got HSMP in 2006 for 2 years and then applied for extenson in 2008 after 2 years and got Tier - 1 General for 3 years. I had to claim points when i applied my extesion.
Now i am near to complete my 5 years and wants to apply ILR but i am a bit confused if i have to complete section 9 ? I am confused in selecting which category in section 3 (Set (O) form) as i am currently on Tier 1 (General) (Section A) but intially i was on HSMP (Section B) ?

In that case you will have to complete Section 9A as this is the main section where UKA will assess your application for points claimed (salary, age, work experience etc).
In Section 3, you will choose the first option of Section A (as HSMP was your previous visa, but Tier-1 is your most recent visa and this is the visa you are applying ILR on the basis of).

Should he not apply under HSMP category Section B? I applied ILR under JR and the whole point of JR was that everyone should get extension/ILR on the terms which were when they intially applied HSMP. In 2007 there were no requirement of showing salary at the time of ILR because that rule came in 2008 so logically they should apply on HSMP rule. Any suggestion ?

I thought zameer2537 is not covered by JR. (I asked him and he never replied about it).

Wasn't JR only for those who applied before November 2006?
