It has been too long. HSMP JR cases are generally straight forward with minimum documentations required. Can you please narrate whether it was a simple case or there were some extra ordinary circumstances so that we can figure out if there is any problem

I had applied on 6/9/11 and received ILR back yesterday. I would say wait another 3 weeks.

Relax there's nothing to worry about. I applied the same time as you (5 days earlier though) under HSMP JR & haven't received mine as yet too.

Hi doubletrouble/gj6ab5657,

Congrats doubletrouble.

I am applying settlement in March under HSMP judical review. (HSMP approved on 3rd Nov 2006)

Are you both in the HSMP approved on 3rd April 2006 and 7th November 2006 category, if so do we and dependent need to do Life in the UK test?

Thanks in advance
Suni

No you don't need to sit Life in the UK test as you are covered by the Home Office policy document which you can find in the below link.

Hope this helps?

Sunimal02 - yes it covers you & all your dependants as their immigration status is the same as yours. Have applied for mine ILR along with my spouse & children and none of us took the test. We'll only have to sit the test for the citizenship application.

I haven't received my passport back as yet albeit I'm now keeping my fingers crossed for the next couple of weeks. Applied last week of September and from the posts in this forum, it looks like HO have just started treating September's application.

Yes my initial HSMP application was approved in July 2006 and I came to the UK in October 2006 after obtaining our EC.

You are not require to complete Section 4 of the ILR application form if you are applying Under the HSMP JR category as per below link

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... o04091.pdf

Hope thus clarifies.

Hi All,

I appreciate your help. I am due to apply for ILR in 3 weeks time. Had a quick look at the ILR Forms SET (O), couple of confusions that I thing every one is asking, if you please clarify as my case is similar to all of yours. I applied HSMP (after april 06 and before nov 06), EC in dec 06 came to UK in March 07. Applied for extension under JR and now due to apply for settlement.
Which catagories I need to fill in as there is lot of confusion. On page 3,7 and section 10 should it be 'under HSMP JR ILR' or 'HSMP' or Tier1 under JR? My thoughts are it should be HSMP JR ILR as I have gone through the policy documents and it says that the applicants falling under the catogory that applied between april 06 - nov 06 would be eligible to apply after 5 years but without LIUK. Please could you tell which sections you have ticked in.

Regards
