Break in Tier 2 work visa

Hello, I was hoping for clarification on my ILR clock. I held a Tier 2 visa and my role was made redundant. I have obtained another job and the new visa will be issued in February. At no time did I overstay, I left the country and only returned for an interview which turned into a job. Since there was a break in my visa for 3 months, does my clock reset?

Thanks!

Looking at the rules for absence, one should not have a single absence of over 90 days (3months) and 180 days absence in total period of 5 years.
If the absences are more than that the clock is likely to be reset, unless one can proove that the absence for some legitimate reason i.e. business trip etc.
