Is people who have applied in december normally wait ages for the decission, my previous extention takes 3 months twice when I had to sent my passport in december. I have applied for my ILR december 2011, and got acknowledgement letter in december and now waiting forever...................but any other months when i applied on flr forms i used to get my passport back in a month.

I really dont think anybody who have applied by post for ILR december 2011 will get their passport anytime before March 2012, For some reason december application always take ages even though it is only 3 holiday , 25th , 26th december and 1st jan, but even someone applied in very last day of Novemeber they might get their decission within jan and february. Well my experience say so. Are you agree with me. Anyways I wish everyone good luck and never lose the hope, May Allah (God) bless all of us.

No I do not agree I think the time frame varies as it entirely depends on the case worker who is handling ur case. If the caseworker is lazy or has been on a holiday then ofcoarse his applicants will wait longer than the others.

This is just my thinking and observation

Thank you very much for your wish, but for some reason december applicant always wait up to march that is minimum, because caseworker in relaxing mood just ater christmas and thinking about easter probably applicant counts every moment but I do not think those case worker take it importantly, in realistic world it is really a big question, a postal application takes 6 months or sometimes more, where around 98 percent premium application take less than 3 hours I don't know what is the ratio here, but I do think it is very much possible to decide a case with in three months, as application is not free, plus ILR application we are paying nearly thousand pounds and total cost over 1000 as life in the uk test also not free, but if you call them before 6 months, all they will say you wait up to 6 months. And we cant do anything much because they will say 6 months is the time frame, and I am totally agree with you, basically it is depends on case worker. But I do hope everyone get their papers back so quick.
